Katy & Brant:

Katy and Brant’s tango history begins together in November of 2003 when they began taking lessons on a whim at the Medical University of South Carolina where they met. It only took one lesson for them to realize that they were hooked on tango and each other. They were married the following year in May, moved to Norfolk, Virginia with the Navy in June and settled down to bursts of tango lessons and socials with the Chesapeake Bay Argentine Tango Society (CATS). After two years there, Brant was transferred to Groton, CT where they continued dancing with the Yale University Tango Club in New Haven and the Providence, RI tango club. Last July they moved to Omaha and in the beginning of February 2008 they founded the Omaha Argentine Tango Society (OATS). In the brief period OATS has existed, they have established the website omahatango.com, performed at various venues and organized tango events in Omaha.

If you're an instructor who teaches Argentine Tango in Omaha, send us your favorite mugshot from that wild milonga you went to last weekend along with your name, e-mail, website, class schedule, mother's maiden name, and social security number (okay - you can leave the last 2 out) and we'll post it on this site to help you get some more students so you can afford bail next time.

Send all the info to Katy (katy@omahatango.com).
