Details: Beginning Tango Lessons will be
held on Sundays in May from 4:30-5:30pm at UNMC's Center for Healthy Living
gymnasium. Tango benefits both mind and body- dancing the tango
is exercise and coordination combined with improvisation and connection
between
dancers. No partner or experience is necessary. No fee for class- just
show up
and wear comfortable clothes and shoes- smooth-soled shoes are preferred as
you
will be doing some pivoting. Black-soled shoes are not allowed in the gym
area. The posture and embrace, basic movements, and social dancing tactics
will be covered with a few added bonus tricks and moves. UNMC,
UNMC-Physician, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNO employees are all
welcome! UNMC students are welcome as well. The Center for Healthy Living
building is located at the corner of 39th and Jones streets and has
controlled access so you will need to bring your ID badge with you to gain
access into the building. Once inside inform the employee at the front
desk that you are here for the tango lessons. The instructor will meet UNO
employees/students at the south doors of the building to let them in. If
